Dawanna Williams is a real estate developer, experienced attorney, and avid traveller based in New York City. Ms. Williams has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, and is the founder and managing principal of Dabar Development Partners, a real estate development, consulting, and investment firm focused on construction, conversion, and renovation of commercial real estate properties.
In 2003, Ms. Williams formally organized Dabar Development Partners, a full service real estate development firm, focused on the preservation, renovation and new construction of architecturally significant real estate properties. Through Dabar, Ms. Williams has been able to combine her expertise as a legal and business pragmatist with her passion for refined materials and design. As a result, Dabar has been awarded or recognized for projects by New York City’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) and New York City’s Economic Development Corporation (EDC). Under her leadership, new construction projects have been completed by the firm in New York City, Philadelphia, and Atlanta.
